Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 15, 2026
The Self Concept ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This page explains what we collect, why, and what your rights are.
What we collect
- Email address, when you take our free quiz, request a free resource (like the 30-Day Confidence Challenge), or join the list. That's it: no name required, no account. Your quiz answers are used only to show your result and, if you join the list, to send you content relevant to your pattern.
- Basic analytics and advertising data (pages visited, device type, approximate location), collected through cookies and similar technologies, including the Pinterest tag and, if enabled, the Meta pixel. This helps us understand what content is useful and measure our advertising.
How we use it
- To deliver your quiz result and the free tools you ask for.
- To send occasional emails with tools, new workbook releases, and offers from The Self Concept. Never spam, and never anything unrelated to this work.
- To measure and improve our site and ads.
Who we share it with
We never sell your data. Your email is stored with our email service provider (Kit, formerly ConvertKit), which processes it on our behalf. Analytics and advertising partners (Pinterest, and Meta if enabled) receive the usage data described above under their own privacy policies.
Your rights
Every email we send includes a one-click unsubscribe link. You can also ask us at any time to access, correct, or delete the data we hold about you by writing to hello.theselfconcept@gmail.com. If you are in the EU or UK, you have the rights provided by the GDPR, including the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
A note on the content
Our workbooks and free tools are self-help materials. They are not therapy, medical advice, or a substitute for care from a qualified professional.
